How this course works

\n\tSince the purpose of this course is to help you complete a personal project, we set up strategic milestones and accountability to help you make consistent progress on your project (although you can take the milestones at your own pace if you like).

\n\tDuring this ten-week course, you’ll complete six lessons and produce a polished personal project.

\n\tEach lesson includes:

A milestone with a deadline for posting your progress.
Helpful resources and videos with motivation and tips from Cory for each phase.
Opportunities to receive feedback and critique from your classmates via a private community group.

\n\tThere will also be two live sessions with Cory where he picks a few projects to critique and answers any questions you have along the way.

\n\tYou’ll produce your own personal project as you follow along with Cory through strategic milestones. You’ll get a glimpse behind the curtain to see how Cory works, and you'll receive tips and pointers about how to stay motivated and productive through every phase.

Who should take this course

Artists and illustrators looking to produce strategic personal projects.
Artists who need a deadline and accountability to finish a personal project (pretty sure that’s most of us).

Prerequisites

Intermediate-level proficiency in technique is assumed. This course focuses on process and motivation, not technique.
Two to three hours a week at minimum to commit to your personal project.
